The Big Stir is Back - October 9!!

Four years ago, we started Soup Stories with a simple idea: bring people together to do something good for our community.

This October, that tradition continues with our 4th Annual Soup Stories community event taking place October 9 upstairs at the Nipawin Legion from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Big Stir brings people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures together to prepare wholesome chili for individuals and families experiencing financial need in Nipawin. Community members work side-by-side preparing and packaging chili, sharing knowledge and cultural traditions, and volunteering their time to support others.

Over the past four years, Soup Stories has shown us what can happen when local businesses, volunteers, families, seniors and youth each bring something to the table. Some chop vegetables, lable containers, open cans, or welcome volunteers. Others simply show up ready to help.

Every contribution becomes part of something bigger: wholesome food prepared locally and provided to people in our community who need it.

Come Be Part of the Big Stir.

The Big Stir is for our whole community. Whether you have volunteered with Soup Stories before or this will be your first RiSE UP event, everyone is welcome to roll up your sleeves and get involved.

Four years. One community. One very big stir.

RiSE UP Community Advisory Foundation is a registered Saskatchewan not-for-profit in good standing. Our events are fully sponsored and, where food is prepared or served, follow applicable Saskatchewan public health requirements and guidance.
